Program Description
This specialization focuses on activities within an international and multicultural context of companies and organizations. Students acquire skills to appropriately deal with cultural, gender, age, or disability-related differences, both internally (e.g., in collaboration within international teams) and externally (e.g., in dealing with customers, suppliers, and partners from different cultures). They develop an understanding of different values, norms, communication styles, and behaviors, sensitivity, empathy, flexibility, and the ability to adopt a different perspective. On this foundation, they learn to adapt traditional management approaches to specific cultural contexts, develop effective communication strategies, and promote collaboration between individuals and teams from diverse cultural backgrounds, harnessing this potential for innovation. Profile-related subjects of the course include organizational culture, but also feminist, postcolonial and intersectional perspectives, practical diversity and inclusion management, international human resources management, and change management. Professional opportunities include diversity and integration management, international human resources and communications management, integration consulting and organizational development.
