Program Description
By choosing the Robotics major, students focus on expanding and deepening their acquired basic mechatronic knowledge and skills by developing competencies for the design, programming, and operation of robot systems. Upon successful completion of the program, they will be familiar with the kinematics and dynamics of robots, the control and regulation of robot systems, as well as the modeling and simulation of robot systems, various sensor types, and drive systems for robots. They will be able to design and program robots and contribute to their further development. Profile-related subjects of the course include the fundamentals of control and automation technology, as well as an introduction to robotics and a project. After completing your studies, you will have career opportunities in the development and construction of robot systems, their programming and commissioning, their maintenance, service and sales, as well as in robotics research and development.
