Check My EligibilityCanada has a growing demand for skilled welders, and Sheridan offers some of the top training in the GTA. You'll get in-depth hands-on education in current welding techniques — working with the most current technology — and study the theory at the same time. Learn shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). Our one-year program gives you the chance to earn certifications with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). You may test in three welding processes in the flat position to obtain up to three licences. Tests take place on campus, which means testing in familiar surroundings. Sheridan welding students get a discounted rate, making this one of the most affordable ways to earn welding certifications.
