Program Description

Working both in the classroom and in the shop, you'll get practical, hands-on experience in electrical fundamentals. In just eight months you can master the basic skills you need to become an electrical apprentice. It's the first step towards a career as a professional tradesperson – and there's no better place to start than Sheridan. To prepare for an electrical apprenticeship, you'll gain instruction in: Application of the Canadian Electrical Code, Electrical Theory , Electrical Trade Safety, Math fundamentals, Commercial and residential building prints and standards.
