In the second year of Sheridan’s Plumbing Technician program, you’ll learn advanced concepts that can save you hundreds of classroom hours during an apprenticeship. You’ll also put your new skills and knowledge to work in a field placement.Plumbers are in high demand these days, and so are gas technicians. No other plumbing college program in the province provides gas technician training approved by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). Once you successfully complete your G3 gas technician courses, you’ll be qualified to hook up furnaces, water heaters and other gas-fired appliances.
