Program Description

Public health is about creating a healthy, happy society – helping to prevent health problems, rather than working with people who are ill. The main focus is on what keeps people healthy? Public health is an art and a science. The educational aim of the course is to develop the specific knowledge and skills needed for effective public heath practice. BSc (Hons) Public Health will enable you to gain an understanding of the multi-disciplinary approaches to public health. You will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively prepare for and establish a career in a wide range of public health related areas.
