Program Description

Sheridan's Environmental Technician program stands out for its emphasis on chemistry and practical lab work. You'll learn the most sophisticated, up-to-date methods – the same procedures used in environmental science research and required by environmental laboratories, consulting firms and regulatory agencies. In two years of direct, hands-on environmental science instruction you'll: Learn to gather samples in the field and analyze them in the lab. Develop a detailed understanding of current environmental regulations. Learn to apply pollution prevention and control processes.

Study and Work in Canada

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
