Program Description
As an Electrical Engineering Technology graduate you will be able to respond to the growing need for faster, smarter and more energy efficient power electronic systems across many industries. Highlights : Program focuses on power electronic systems and industrial automation in areas of electrical power generation, power distribution, protection and control, energy conservation, utility planning, and renewable energy systems. Extensive hands-on industry experience via three co-op work terms. Graduates with relevant experience can apply for the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) certification.
Study and Work in Canada
Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
