Program Description

Our program provides applied learning and develops skills in professional business writing, strategic communications planning, presentation skills, social and digital media content development, social and digital media analytics, media relations, research, agency public relations, government relations, and crisis management. Humber’s faculty has extensive real-world experience, subject matter expertise and industry connections. Your professors also get to know you by name and offer personalized instruction. To keep the program content current and market relevant, external industry experts regularly review the curriculum. In the first semester of the program, your courses include other media disciplines such as advertising and graphic design, journalism, media communications, advertising and marketing communications. This allows you to keep your options open should you wish to head in a different direction in your second semester.
