Program Description

Mechanical engineers use their knowledge of engineering principles to design objects with motion. The fundamental engineering principles include mechanics, materials, thermo-fluids and computer-aided design. Our MEng degree uses our experience of providing a rounded education to graduates. This ensures you’re prepared to work in a range of industrial sectors. You’ll also develop skills in user needs and business plan development. There’s an optional placement route to spend a year in industry between Year 2 and Year 3.
