Program Description

The profile combines international relations with a focus on global security. Students explore international institutions, foreign policy, comparative policy analysis, and security policy issues. In doing so, they acquire knowledge of the causes and dynamics of conflicts, the forms and methods of combating terrorism, and the role of international organizations in security policy processes. Topics such as migration, displacement, regional conflicts, and peacebuilding measures are addressed within an interdisciplinary framework. Methodological and theoretical foundations are applied and deepened in practical formats such as simulations, community and international projects, and professional internships. Upon successful completion, students possess a solid understanding of global security issues, intercultural competence, and analytical skills for assessing and managing complex crisis situations.
