Program Description
Historical study explains the past to the present and illuminates the present through the past. The Bachelor of Arts - History program is a 3-5 year degree program with a curriculum that offers students opportunities to discover, understand, and assess past time and change over time. Historical study develops strong writing skills and critical analysis. As well, it provides training in skills of intellectual enquiry and judgment to prepare for students’ future lives. In addition, the curriculum prepares graduates who will become professional historians.
