Program Description
The Industrial Instrumentation and Process Control Technician program provides a foundation in the industrial instrumentation trade. This program emphasizes practical, hands-on experience in applying, installing, repairing, calibrating, and tuning measurement and control instruments used in industrial manufacturing processes. Students in this program will: Install and maintain field instruments that are part of large-scale manufacturing systems. These instruments may be digital, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic devices. Learn to program computerized controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that preform the required function within the manufacturing. Half of the programs duration is dedicated to hands-on activities using industry-standard equipment, ensuring graduates are job-ready for various related fields.
