Program Description

When children, youth and their families experience trauma, abuse, neglect or a significant loss, they need support to set a course for a positive future. The Child and Youth Care program provides you with the knowledge and skills to help individuals and families navigate mental health challenges, addiction, education, poverty, barriers to communication or family conflict. You learn to build relationships with individuals and families, helping them to gain new insights, access supports and learn strategies for navigating the complexities of their lives.
