Program Description

A M.Sc. degree in physics normally consists of both coursework and a thesis. The Comprehensive M.Sc. program in medical physics is a two-year (18-month coursework, 6-month research project) program that requires 36 credits. A clinical research project in an approved laboratory and the submission of a research report is also required. On completion of the coursework and research project, the student will be required to pass a comprehensive oral examination.

Study and Work in Canada

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
