Program Description
Students in the economics program will explore one of two streams: economics and econometrics, which emphasizes theory (micro and macro), mathematics and statistical methods, and economics and society, which focuses on how the distribution of wealth and power affects the socioeconomic and physical environment. The MA program consists of a combination of coursework and either a thesis component or research paper that demonstrates the mastery of their field.
