Check My EligibilityThe Theatre program offers courses in performance, dramatic literature, production and film. As a theatre major, you will work closely in small classes with skilled instructors who have extensive professional experience. Through two main streams of study – Performance and Production – our program focuses not only on acting but on theatre as a collaborative art form relying on a team of performers, technicians, and administrators, as well as sound, lighting, costume, and set designers. Artists work together to make theatre, and students become sensitive to the interdisciplinary nature of the art. You will have the opportunity to perform or to work backstage in the productions of the Acadia Theatre Company.
