Program Description

The Pre-Media program is a one-year foundational certificate program designed to introduce you to various media industries. This preliminary year will allow you to sample and discover elements of each School of Contemporary Media program in preparation for a more focused education within a specific media field. Entry-level courses in visual media, storytelling, audio fundamentals, interactive media and design, communications, performance and collaborative media productions will ignite your creativity. You’ll gain hands-on experience using industry standard software taught by creative educators and media professionals. By exploring different media fields and gaining industry skills, you'll be equipped to choose the media career that's right for you.
