Program Description

Building automation and systems integration is critical to the work of technicians, technologists, engineers, and designers. In this program, students gain the knowledge and experience to transform and lead organizations in the efficient use of energy and resources. In multidisciplinary teams, students develop innovative projects that reduce waste, and make better use of limited natural resources. With a focus on facilities efficiency, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building automation, and systems integration, students enhance their understanding of efficient building systems. Students acquire the skills and knowledge to develop integrated systems that involve the complex interconnectedness of people, processes, resources, and technologies.
