Program Description

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering graduate programs create and maintain excellence in areas at the forefront of research and innovation. Our objective is to attract the best students and to educate them in the rigours of scientific research. We provide a scholarly and dynamic environment with attention to scientific discipline, detail and accuracy. The MEng is a course-based program designed for working professionals or recent graduates who want to increase their knowledge in multiple, advanced topics. Graduates of the MEng program can apply to UWindsor's fast-track MASc program, which provides them with additional research-specific training and education. MEng students will be required to complete a minimum of eight graduate-level courses, including five from their area of specialization plus three required courses: Engineering Technical Communications, Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Project Management. Full-time students must complete this program in 3-5 semesters.
