Program Description

We offer a master degree in Microbiology. The University of Manitoba, Western Canada’s oldest University, and the largest of Manitoba’s three Universities, was established as a degree granting institution in 1877. It is a co-educational, non-denominational, government supported institution with a current population of 23,500 students and 5,000 academic and support staff.

Study and Work in Canada

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
