Program Description
Humber’s Arborist Apprenticeship program consists of a twelve-week Level 1 session and a twelve-week Level 2 session focusing on the planting, maintenance and removal of trees in urban settings. We emphasize safety, teamwork and the development of sound, up-to-date job skills and workplace practices. Your lectures and labs are balanced with a major practical fieldwork component. Apprenticeships are not available to international applicants.
Study and Work in Canada
Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
