Program Description
Capable accounting and finance professionals are highly respected in the global business world and are in high demand. Selkirk gives students a solid financial understanding and management background to secure their career potential in this high-paying and diverse field. The Accounting and Finance concentration allows students to start working right away or receive advance credit towards earning their Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or other professional designations. This concentration provides students with a solid background in the financial structure of business. Students develop skills in such areas as: financial and managerial accounting, systems analysis and design, auditing, taxation, and computer systems.
