Program Description

A Biology degree is for you if you’re curious about the natural world, and want to understand the past, present and future of life on Earth. You’ll join a friendly community in the School of Life Sciences. You’ll learn from experts who are tackling some of society’s biggest issues – from research into cancer treatments to the declining bee population. From cell biology to ecology, there’s a wide range of topics for you to choose from. This allows you to tailor the degree to your interests and career plans. You’ll learn about the theories in the field practise your skills in laboratory sessions work on your own research project. Outside the laboratory, you can apply your practical skills through fieldwork. We offer amazing field trips to: Wales Portugal Southern Africa the Red Sea Ecuador.
