Program Description
The Langara College Bioinformatics Pathway provides Columbia College students with a unique opportunity to transfer into one of the most innovative and rapidly growing fields in science. Begin your studies at Columbia College and transition to Langara to complete your degree Langara College provides conditional acceptance to students who apply during Year 1 or Year 2 of their studies at Columbia College After transfer, students complete bridging courses such as Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Genetics at Langara College. After completing bridging courses, students enter Year 3 of the degree. Graduates are prepared for careers in personalized medicine, biotechnology, environmental sustainability, microbiology, and more.
