Program Description

Our art history area has its own stand-alone degree for those wishing to move into careers in museums, galleries, archives, and other arts organizations, or go on to graduate level study of art history or related fields. Art history also feeds into all of our other teaching, bringing rigorous research, analysis and contextualization skills to every artist and designer in our department to help develop a wide range of creative professional practices.
