Program Description

The Honours program is designed for students with a special interest in English. Those who plan to pursue careers in teaching, writing, or publishing, as well as those who intend to go on to graduate studies, will find the Honours program particularly valuable. Honours in English is attained through either a thesis-based or a course-based program of study. Regardless of which route a student chooses, the requirements of the Arts Core and a 24-hour Minor must be met.
