Program Description

This course is for anyone who wants to be a journalist or wants to learn about the changing field of journalism. Our experienced staff will guide you as you learn about different forms of journalism. We will help you to produce insightful, imaginative work whilst learning about the history and future of journalism. You will have the opportunity to work as a journalist for student publications or national media organisations. You will write original stories with business potential and research journalism history, its role in society, media law, ethics, and regulation. Portfolio modules allow you to earn degree credits by publishing your work. For your final project, you can develop a new publication from concept to launch or do a significant academic research project.
