Program Description

This course will develop a detailed knowledge of tourism, travel, and the associated skills for management and business in this evolving and dynamic sector. Tourism business and management modules will develop critical transversal skills in business, tourism marketing and management, human resource management, and finance with data analysis. There is a work placement module in Year 2. Students will understand the culture driving the tourism industry in three of the main European countries (France, Spain, and Germany) and learn the basics of these three languages with no prior language experience required. The International Tourism Management Industry is a dynamic and globally influential field that caters to the needs of travellers and creates memorable experiences. It involves the strategic planning, promotion, and management of tourism destinations, attractions, and services.
