Program Description
As events have become a major force for building personal and business communities and a tool to promote destinations and nation-building, the study of events has become increasingly significant in the all-areas businesses and academia. This course will meet the increased need and demand for skilled and effective business and events management graduates, adding to the professionalisation of the event management field. The course combines key business management and event management learning outcomes delivered by events industry professionals, academic experts, and specialist guest lecturers, supporting students in the application of theory to practical event management, with the opportunity for students to produce their own live events as part of the course curriculum You will develop knowledge and skills across several business disciplines, focusing on the study of organisations, management, and the changing environment in which they operate.
