Program Description
Consumer awareness of production safety and quality is at an all-time high, triggered by repeated recalls, social media campaigns and increased media access. As a result, successful quality control and quality assurance programs are essential for an organization to survive. Graduates of the Chemical Laboratory Technology – Food Science program are uniquely suited to work in these high-demand areas in the food, cosmetics, natural health product and cannabis industries. Our courses are rooted in real-world applications and our extensive analytical instrumentation lab provides practical, hands-on training on the instrumentation used routinely for the quality control and safety testing of products in these industries.
