Program Description
The construction industry places significant value on training as it is vital to the continued success of any construction related business. BCIT is committed to the long term goal of meeting the increasing shortage of qualified personnel and recognizes that the acquisition of new skills will equip the worker to excel in his or her workplace and deal with the ever-changing challenges. BCIT offers multi-level, part-time studies programs designed specifically for people who: have industry experience and want to upgrade their skills,are active in some facet of the industry and wish to enhance their career potential, or wish to continue their ongoing education.The Construction Operations program consists of 7 core courses (21 credits and 3 credits of approved electives) – Total required credits is 24 credits.
