Program Description
Acupuncture has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Today, it is a regulated health profession in Alberta and a popular alternative and complementary treatment choice for acute and chronic illness. This program prepares you to become a Registered Acupuncturist in Alberta, subject to successful completion of the Pan-Canadian and provincial registration examinations administered by the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA). We are proud to be the only public, post-secondary program of this kind in the province that has been approved by Alberta Advanced Education.
