Program Description

If you want to be a part of the behind-the-scenes magic of theatre, find your way to MacEwan University's Theatre Production program. Our stages are waiting for you. In this two-year program, you learn about all aspects of theatre production, including props and set construction, lighting, sound and video, costumes and scenic painting. In collaboration with designers and directors, you build, experiment, invent and craft—and then watch the results of your hard work come to life on the stage. Guided by instructors with plenty of experience in the field, you learn about the challenges, excitement and rewards of a production season.
