Davis Campus Campus
As an electromechanical engineering technologist, you’ll have a deeper understanding of automation and robotics than graduates of our two-year Electromechanical Engineering Technician program. Enhance your knowledge with courses in programmable logic controllers, robotic programming and applications, electropneumatics, fluid power, HVAC, computer integrated manufacturing, 3D modelling and more. Prove yourself to employers before you even graduate! In your final semester, you’ll work with fellow engineering students on a capstone project that provides solutions for our industry partners. You can also apply for a paid co-op work placement that provides one year of real-world experience. Some of our students have been hired as a direct result of their capstone or co-op participation.
Study and Work in Canada
Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
