Program Description

Hands-on learning in a shop environment, classroom theory, MITT's Work Skills Series workshops, and the opportunity to complete a 16-week work practicum combine to equip Auto Mechanics students with career-ready fundamentals in automotive repair, basic diagnostics, and troubleshooting in just nine months. Graduates who meet specific criteria can earn credit toward Apprenticeship Manitoba Level 1. Who it is for: Individuals with a passion for hands-on work, an interest in technology and problem solving, and a desire to share their knowledge and advice in conversations with customers.
