Program Description
Students can learn various skills in this specialization from principles of accounting to Canadian taxation. This stream is designed to train students for any accounting job. The School of Business maintains a working relationship with all of British Columbia’s professional accounting bodies, i.e., The Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC, The Certified General Accountants Association of BC, and The Society of Management Accountants of BC. Courses which meet all or the majority of the requirements for admission to their programs are available in the School of Business.

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
