Program Description
The education you receive in the Desautels Faculty of Music will prepare you for a wide range of careers, including traditional performance, music education, composition and history, as well as many other music and arts-related professions. We offer instruction in all orchestral, band and jazz instruments, piano/organ and all vocal areas. You can expect to learn in an environment of intense creativity and collaboration, built on a foundation of academic excellence, with an inspiring balance of tradition and innovation.

Study and Work in Canada
Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
