Learn about the complex relationships between media, communication, and society, and gain insight into a variety of topics such as the history of communication, advertising, music, journalism, digital design, and artistic expression. In your first and second year, you are introduced into communication theory and discuss the role media plays in the lives of Canadians. You also become familiar in social research methodology, and examine topics ranging from public relations and advertising to journalism in Canada.
