Program Description
The School of Art at the University of Manitoba offers a vibrant studio program with state-of-the-art facilities, large private studios, instruction and technical support for a diversity of approaches to contemporary art production, including ceramics, drawing, installation, painting, performance, sculpture, photography (wet and digital), print media and video. The School of Art offers a two-year Master of Fine Art program with an emphasis on studio work and original research. MFA students are not required to specialize in a specific medium, but can choose to have a multidisciplinary focus

Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in.
