Program Description

This program prepares students to be effective, efficient, entry-level professionals. Students develop skills in web page design, digital layouts, and digital tools. The Graphics Technology curriculum prepares the student to be an effective staff member in business, government or non-profit organizations. All CMU/WCCC technical certificate graduates are expected to demonstrate proficiency in specialized knowledge/applied learning, communication fluency, and critical thinking. In addition to these campus‐wide student learning outcomes, graduates of this major will be able to: Utilize design principles used in the arrangement of graphic and text elements. (Specialized Knowledge) Manage marketing activities through the use of the internet. (Applied Learning) Create marketing material using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. (Applied Learning)
