Program Description

Humber’s Computer Programming diploma program is designed to prepare students for a wide variety of employment opportunities within the dynamic and ever-growing field of programming. In addition to learning programming in a variety of languages, from Java and C# to ASP.NET, PHP, Python and Android programming, you will gain an in-depth understanding and use of industry-standard operating systems and database management systems. Our programming courses are designed to give you a thorough grounding in theory and practice including web development and design; distributed computing using J2EE, Oracle database management and administration; mobile app development; project management; technical writing; and all facets of information systems. You will also learn about software and web application development and follow the standards of planning, developing, testing and supporting. In addition to building your collaborative and teamwork skills, this program will teach you how to best market yourself to prospective employers in today's competitive job market. Upon graduation, you will be equipped with the up-to-date skills you need for success.
