Sociology is the study of society. Do you find yourself wondering about how social movements and norms develop? Are you interested in topics like crime, aging, sexuality, human rights, health, or the environment? Sociology will answer your questions and give you a new lens for seeing the world around you. At UNB, we prepare our graduates for national and international careers in Sociology. Our faculty and related courses comprise a range of perspectives on historical and developing thoughts pertaining to social, political, human, and environmental issues.
Study and Work in Canada
Full-time undergraduate and post-graduate international students can work anywhere on or off campus without a work permit. The rules around the number of hours a student will be allowed to work may vary based on the country the student chooses to study in. International students are typically able to work up to 20 hours a week.
