Program Description

Archaeology is the interdisciplinary study of the human past through the examination of material and biological remains, including artifacts, human and animal bones, architecture, and plants. You will learn the field methods and laboratory techniques used to study these materials, as well as theories archaeologists use to understand the ancient cultures and past civilizations of the Americas, Europe and the pre-Classical and Classical Mediterranean world. This exciting interdisciplinary program combines courses from Anthropology, Ancient History & Classics, and the sciences.
